Happy Keys - Piano Classes
Learn to master piano & music and apply it to a band/team environment.
Lessons are 60 mins and are taught by our fun, professional teachers.
Classes run Mon-Fri 11:30am-8:00pm (for summer) and 3:00pm-8:00pm during school time. And Saturdays 10:00am-5:00pm
Lessons occur in small semi-private classes of 2-3 students of similar age/skill level. (Private one-on-ones are also available)
Enjoy 48 lessons per year. They occur at the same time weekly with the option of rescheduling if needed.
Lessons are billed monthly, all cards are accepted.

- Our Story -
Hi, I'm Jack, founder and director at Level Up Music School. I'm glad to see you are interested in music lessons, because I was once right where you are. Here is my story ...
I started learning guitar at 11 and didn't really start enjoying it until I was 16. Unfortunately, I've lost many years to unprofessional teachers using ineffective methods. Back then, long before YouTube, there weren’t many options. I tried private teachers, I tried a conservatory… both left me bored, confused, and discouraged. Learning music felt slow, frustrating, and anything but inspiring.
Eventually, I taught myself, but even then, I realized what I was missing: proper structure, motivation, and guidance. I could have saved so much time, and a lot of frustration, if I had just found the right teacher.
Twenty-five years later, that’s become my mission: to change students’ lives through music and to build the kind of school I wish I’d had. By the time I earned my Guitar Teaching certificates in the U.S. and founded, what would become, Level Up in 2016, I’d already toured professionally, but I knew my purpose was bigger, to help others reach their musical potential.

Are The Teachers Qualified?
Our instructors are highly qualified, all have teaching experience, and most importantly, they have a passion for teaching. Being a musician doesn't automatically make you a teacher--that's why we search for those who are best qualified for mentoring our music students!
One of the things we do differently is that our teachers get weekly training even if they don't need it, in order to provide the BEST kids piano lessons available in Toronto. Not all piano lessons are equal!
Do I Need To Sign a Long-Term Contract?
Absolutely not! Our lessons are billed monthly.
Do I Need My Own Instrument?
Practicing at home helps make progress between lessons happen, but you do not need to commit to buying an instrument before coming in to try us out! You can start to see if your child likes what they're doing and our teachers can help you pick an instrument that is most appropriate without breaking the bank.
Does Level Up Music School Offer Concerts, Recitals And Performance Opportunities?
Absolutely! Performing is one of the fundamental (and most fun) parts of learning music! And we've set up out school and curriculum with that end in mind.
We currently host two BIG concerts a year, offer smaller recitals throughout the year, and a lot of performance opportunities during our open mics!
Does Level Up Music School teach the RCM program and exams?
We have our own curriculum, carefully curated through years of testing and teaching.
Our curriculum aims to give students a well-rounded approach and balance classical techniques with modern songs and students' requests to keep the lessons fun.
We also include activities promoting creativity so kids can develop independence, such as playing even without a music sheet in front of them.
We also do tests every 10 to 12 weeks, and students get promoted from one level to another.
For parents wanting their child to prepare for the RCM exams, we incorporate the RCM program into the mix, and the RCM program takes the forefront.
However, we do not teach RCM exclusively, as we believe it is restrictive and doesn't include other crucial aspects of musicianship, such as improvisation, playing with other musicians, with a band, or performing on stage.
If you're inquiring about lessons for adults, these are customized to each individual's goals and aspirations, and same as above, they're meant to turn you into a well-rounded player.
